Cindy 24-052

I got Ellie Mae (Cindy) Oct 18th, 2024. She was so shut down and afraid of everything and everyone. She sat in the corner of my yard and laid in a corner of the house for weeks decompressing and overweight. I put her on weight management food and started working with her and rewarding her with healthy treats. She slowly started coming out of her scared shell. She loved her kennel but did not want her going to that while in the house. Her transition slowly began and she started becoming more active in the yard and lost some weight. She was able to finally get up on the couch without help and she so enjoys the comfort of the couch.  She has lost 14 pounds currently and loves her couch and is now running in the yard, barking and becoming the dog she is meant to be.

She is getting better with humans, loves her dog playdates with other dog friends and gets along well with most of the dogs.she gets her playdates 2-3 times a week with friendly, well trained dogs.

EllieMae has  a calm, peaceful soul and she is in tune with people and what they need. She does remarkably well with people who need a calm and relaxing dog around. she senses it and will just be by them. 

EllieMae has come a long way in 3 months and will continue to grow and become the dog she is meant to be.
