Surrender a Dog

The dogs we receive come into our care for many reasons. If you have decided you can no longer care for your dog, please reach out to us and one of our volunteers will be in touch with you as soon as possible. 

Once we receive your message, we will contact you to set up a time to discuss your dog. If we can take your dog into our care, we will will come to your home to pick your dog up. At this time, we will have you complete the release form. By doing so, you are relinquishing your rights to the dog, and they become a GRRoIowa dog.

We know this is not a easy decision and is a very difficult time. Rest assured, we will find them the best home. We are their voice.
