One of the biggest struggles of fostering is not just finding a home for your dog, but instead finding the right home for your dog.   After 15 months in foster care, Max has packed his bags and become a WI resident.

This sweet, loving and quirky guy has hit the jackpot.  His new mom and dad are experienced dog owners that took their time deciding if he was really the guy for them.   He has a confident and well adjusted older canine brother that will show him how to be a dog.   His 6 yo human brother adores him and  I think they will be best buddies.   

This guy holds a very special place in his foster mom and dad’s heart.   Many people could not imagine we would place him, but the reality is that he deserved a different home than we could provide.   At the end of the day this previously anxious and stressed out guy has evolved into a pretty normal dog.

Max found that perfect forever home with the K family and we could not be happier for him and his new family!    Have a wonderful life Maxie Pooh!
