Emmy Lou 26-018

Emmy Lou 26-018 was adopted on Saturday April 18. She now has 2 parents to love her and a brother, Charlie, that is about the same age and has lots of energy just like Emmy. I bet they will have lots of ball playing mixed in with lots of chasing in her new backyard.

Emmy Lou was a fun foster these past 6 weeks. Coming from a breeder surrender to experiencing life in a house. She did look after my resident dogs for clues. Emmy overcame her fear of doors and even the steps to the lower level.

The one thing we were still working on was walking on a leash. I used one of the resident dogs to walk on her leash while Emmy watched. I could get Emmy to walk about 4 to 5 feet and then she would put the brakes on.

Emmy Lou loved to chase a ball in the backyard. And would even throw the ball in the air and chase after it. She would let the ball roll down the hill in my yardand then chase after it at top speed.

Foster Dad already misses Emmy Lou. She was very affectionate and loved to be near at most times. Good Luck to Emmy Lou and the S. family and brother Charlie.
