Murphy 26-051

Murphy, a gorgeous  9-year-old Golden Retriever,  was surrendered because he needed a  quieter home where he could settle in and enjoy his golden years.    

He is a sweet, people-loving guy who has spent his life as a family dog. He loves people, gets very excited to greet visitors, LOVES playing ball, enjoys treats and toys, and is always happy to hop in the car for an adventure — even if getting in and out isn’t always particularly graceful!

Murphy is housebroken and knows sit, leave it, drop it, shake with both paws, and even a somewhat convincing rollover when he’s feeling motivated. He’s food motivated and has always been a pretty vocal guy. When he’s excited, he’ll often grab a mouthful of toys and give you his happy, excited growl while proudly showing off what he has.

Murphy spent a few weeks in foster care in the Twin Cities and now is happily residing back in Iowa with his new mom, dad and feline siblings.   His forever home absolutely adores him and has nothing but glowing things to say about him.   

We are so happy for everyone involved and know Murphy has the best forever home possible.
