Skye 26-041

Skye is a beautiful, affectionate 5 1/2-year-old who had been with her SO since she was just under eight weeks old. She is a happy, social golden who absolutely loves people and thrives on companionship.

Skye is an extremely affectionate dog who loves greeting people and enjoys any game that includes people interacting with her.   She LOVES chasing a ball and is great at teasing you with it vs. actually bringing it bac.  She loves car rides and rides well in the car. Overall Skye was a nearly perfect dog, but she did struggle with dogs that barked at her and meeting other dogs in a less than controlled manner. 

Her foster family worked hard with her and found a wonderful lady that is a strong role model and Skye and her new mom had an instant connection.   She is now living her best life with a mom that is working on her socialization and it is going well.

Skye was surrendered to GRRoIOWA when her owner got a new job that required her to be gone 12-16 hours a day.   The decision to surrender her was incredibly difficult, but her surrendering owner wanted Skye to have a home where she can receive the time, attention, and interaction she deserved. 

Skye truly won the lottery and we know she will be living her best life with a mom that works from home and will make her the best dog she can be.   Skye is home and we are very excited for her.
