Meet Ginger!! A 5-year-old Golden mix who is a total lover!
- She has gotten along well with our resident dog and dogs she has met on our walks. She isn’t super playful; would rather hang out with her humans. She would be ok as the only dog in her forever home.
- She is a Velcro girl and can be timid when meeting men. She warmed up to her foster dad just fine and loves to lay next to his chair to get belly rubs.
- Completely housebroken and sleeps through the night on a dog bed beside our bed.
- She has met kids on her walks and been just fine. It is our understanding she was living with children. She seems interested in kids when she hears them but I feel kids in the home should be ages 5 and up as she can be timid if her environment gets loud.
- She has a few pounds to lose (weighs 67 lbs) and we’re working on that with our nightly walks.
- We were told her previous home had several cats and they co-existed. She loves to chase rabbits so I’m not sure how she would be with an unknown cat. (no cats reside in her foster home)
- A physical fence (no invisible fence) is required.
