Meet Gracie: The Smart, Spunky, and Sweet Adventure Queen!

Gracie is a 62lb spayed female Goldendoodle who is living proof that age is just a number. While her records say she is 10 years old, her energy and zest for life match a 5-year-old pup! She is the perfect mix of a well-mannered house guest and an active outdoor companion.

The Ultimate Adventure Buddy
Gracie is a social butterfly! She walks beautifully on a leash, loves visits to pet-friendly stores to greet everyone, and jumps into an SUV like a champ. She is a curious traveler who wants to see everything out the window (though she does think windshield wipers are a fun “prey” game!). Whether it’s a neighborhood walk or a trip to the park, she’s ready to go.

A Model Citizen at Home
Inside the house, Gracie is a dream. She is “smart as a whip” and highly treat-motivated. She knows “Sits” and waits for an “okay” command for meals and at the door. She’s also a safety pro—she follows “Gracie up” and “Gracie down” on the stairs so you never trip!

  • Quiet & Clean: She doesn’t chew on things, stays out of the garbage, and is a great eater and water drinker.
  • Zen Girl: She has no fear of the vacuum or thunderstorms.
  • The Best Roommate: She kennels like a pro for naps and sleeps soundly through the night. While she isn’t a frequent barker, she does have a “big dog” voice when she has something to say!
  • Affectionate: She has an adorable head tilt and loves to cuddle with her people.

Health & Grooming
Gracie is low-to-no shedding, but to keep her looking like a queen, she needs a professional groom every 6 weeks and a good combing at home every other day. She is a total sweetheart about her care—she even loves having her teeth brushed daily!

Gracie’s “Perfect Match” Requirements:
  • Home Type: A single-family home (no apartments, condos, or townhouses).
  • Fencing: A physical fence (4’ or taller) is required. No invisible fences.
  • Company: Gracie needs someone who is home more than not.
  • Activity: Her adopter must be committed to daily walks and backyard play (she lives for frisbee and ball toss!).
  • Friends: She is wonderful with well-behaved children (lived with a 4 and 7-year-old). She prefers calm, respectful dogs but loves to play! She’d also be perfectly happy as your only dog. (Cats: she has not been tested as her foster does not have cats).

Gracie has no resource guarding issues and is simply looking for a loyal companion to join on their next adventure. If you have an active lifestyle and a lot of love to give, Gracie is waiting for you!
